Scottish Fiddler Calum MacKinnon to Headline Fiddler’s 33rd Spring Concert

The Fiddlers are excited to announce that master Scottish fiddler Calum MacKinnon will joining them for their 33rd annual spring concert in Hermosa Beach. Born in Scotland to Hebridean parents, Calum spent his early years growing up on the Isle of Tiree. He started fiddling at eight years old and made his first broadcast performance on BBC Radio at age twelve. The infectious energy and sensitivity of Calum’s playing makes him highly sought after as a performer and a teacher. Calum has coached several Scottish Fiddle National Champions and judged the Championship on five occasions. His busy schedule of playing for dances, concerts and teaching workshops have taken him across the US and Canada and to Scotland, England and Japan. Tickets are available at BrownPaperTickets.com.
