A lively evening is in store as the Scottish Fiddlers of Los Angeles return to Hermosa Beach April 14 for their 37th Annual Spring Concert. A fiery program of marches, strathspeys, reels and jigs in the rousing Scottish tradition will be performed by the 40-member orchestra featuring fiddles, cellos, drums, piano, bagpipe, dancers, and Gaelic song.  We are pleased to welcome fiddle sensation Katie McNally as our special guest for this year’s concert.

More about Katie McNally:  Recently featured on the cover of Fiddler Magazine, Katie has performed and taught fiddle in the U.S., Canada, Spain, Scotland, England, and France. A member of the cross genre fiddle super-group Childsplay, she appears on As the Crow Flies, produced by legendary Irish fiddler Liz Carroll. A student of acclaimed fiddler Hanneke Cassel, Katie has played at the Newport Folk Festival, the Barns at Wolf Trap,  The Festival of American Fiddle Tunes, and Benaroya Hall.
